Done for the daily sketch forum.Topic was "Evil Lair" . I wanted to show an evil devotee of Goddess Kali making a human sacrifice on the full moon for some magical powers in his evil lair.The lair is ominously dark and the bound and gagged sacrifice is placed inside a crescent to emphasize the darker mystical undertones.I have used absolutely NO reference for anything so proportions of the people are not too accurate.Need to practice much much much more.The time limit was 55 minutes for this challenge but I took 2 hours :( still a long way to go with speed....

Hello people I know I havnt posted in a looong time..but I promise I will hv more frequent posts now.... Im taking sculpting classes from a very talented sculptor and this is something I made in my class. Its just so much fun to do something with clay after painting on the computer for so long. I did some drawings of my own feet to prepare for this.The reference used for this was a cast of the foot of Michelangelo's David. I will upload pics of the reference model and my foot drawings soon.
